Courgette Zucchini "Nefertiti".
A productive variety of Czech selection.
The plant is bushy, lush, with medium branching and cylindrical fruits. The leaves have a characteristic marble pattern.
Young fruits are green to dark green in color (no pattern), and ripe fruits are dark green with a shiny skin.
The fruits of this variety have small seeds and a small seed chamber. The fruit pulp is white, with good taste.
Recommended for baking, canning and freezing.
Agricultural technology.
The optimal temperature for growth and development is +25..+27°C, during the period of fruit formation and ripening +18..+25°C. Watering with warm water only.
The best are 2-4 year old seeds. When planting seedlings, seeds are sown to a depth of 2-3 cm.
30-40-day-old seedlings are planted in open ground (0.5 buckets of compost per hole).
The first feeding (slurry 1:5) - in the phase of one true leaf, the second - after two weeks.
To speed up ripening, pinching the main stem in the budding phase is used.
The fruits are harvested after the crust has hardened, when it will not be pressed with a fingernail and will acquire a more intense color characteristic of the variety (it is best to harvest when the fruits reach a length of 20-25 cm). Then their flesh is more tender, juicy and tasty.
One fruit produces an average of 120 seeds.
